Hi all,
I've got to get a family size fridge freezer in just over a week. (gave current one away on freecycle not realising that new property does not include ff duh!). I've done the shopbot thing but am finding it tricky to picture size and space available as some pictures don't have the door open and it's not the same as having a good nose in person so to speak. Any tips/recommendations please as I I've no time to go and look around shops. I've not even packed properly yet!
Thanking you all in advance

I've just had to trawl the net looking for a replacement fridge-freezer and got a very good deal from Boots.com of all places.
Ordered Hotpoint FF200E because it is fairly large with a good size freezer as well as fridge size. Comes in various colours, I chose white. Priced at £316 with £19.99 delivery (I think there was a more expensive faster option but not sure.)
Was impressed with speed of promised delivery - ordered on 30/05 and is due on 6/06. Have had e-mail confirmation plus a recorded phone message confirming delivery day. Have also been told I'll be phoned on evening of 5/06 to give a 4 hour delivery slot for the next day.
If all goes to plan, will have been very impressed with price, speed of delivery and customer service.0 -
I looked at various customer reviews on net before choosing and this one came out very well. Was warned of one problem ie machine is 2 metres tall, so small people may have problems reaching top shelf, but I need the space. No one mentioned anything serious.0

Boots appliances are run on boots behalf by DRL ltd http://www.appliancedeals.co.uk/ who do free delivery on orders over 299.00, it's the same deal as buying from boots you just don't get points.
I bought a whirlpool freezer from them a year ago, cheapest price on the net for the model, delivery was quick and on time.

Thanks again:T
Yes you do get points - one of my reasons for choosing.
Was given delivery slot of 11 - 3 today, but actually arrived at 9.30 am which suited fine. When delivery men unpacked they found dent on side. Was given option of sending back and getting new, or getting reduction off this one. Chose reduction as my old fridge/freezer is being taken away this evening, and was credited with £50 and assured that working would not be affected. Was even happier when I opened paperwork and found energy rating sticker to be attached to fridge/freezer which is big enough to cover the dent.
Points to note - this is huge, reasonable width 2' and depth just over 2'. but height at 6'8" is high, don't order if you have a low ceiling. Internal storage is very good.
It also comes with the usual one year guarantee, but an additional 4 year guarantee on parts only.0
