I have an old TSB platinum MasterCard credit card, with the grand credit limit of £20, with a nil balance
I logged online and to my surprise it was till showing, rang TSB and they confirmed its still active, I have asked them to send a new card out, I ask for a credit increase to £100, I was declined- what a surprise- NOT!
I am thinking of paying £10 petrol once every 1 or 2 months and clear off in full
it will show on the credit reference files as a live account and balance cleared off in full, i think it will be a benefit going forward post discharge
but the question is am I allowed to use this account without getting into trouble with the OR, I had approximate £5000 worth of TSB debt in the bankruptcy, but for some reason they have not closed this account down, and are happy for me to use it

Hi,
If you are still un discharged then the only credit restriction upon you is that you must not obtain credit of more than £500 without disclosing your status.
Clearly it doesn't breach that rule so if the creditor is happy then I see no issue.
