Joint 30th & 40th party!!

Heres hoping for some ideas... Two of my friends are throwing a joint birthday party and I need to get both a gift. I would like to get something a little different with out breaking the bank. The 30 year old to be is very girly and very much into shoes and the 40 year old to be is also a girly girl.. Other than doing hampers would any one else have any suggestions??

Thanks in advance

My friend recently had their fiftieth birthday and her favourite present that I had given her was thanks to someone posting the idea elsewhere on this website

I managed to make a triple CD of all the songs that were No.1 on her birthday every year since the day that she was born. I got the titles from this website Half a Century of No.1 Hits and my son's friend downloaded them all for me.

You could personalise the case with a photo on the front of them as a wee girl and the title "???'s No.1 Birthday Hits" and if you want print photos onto CD labels as well. Makes it look quite "professional" and as I said my friend was tickled pink with the thought that had gone into it.
