Flex Direct has gone missing

Options
I've just logged into my Nationwide accounts and noticed my Flex Direct has gone AWOL. It was there earlier today as I transferred some money from it into my Flex account.

Has this scenario ever happened to anyone here? I've reported it to Nationwide using their 'missing account' form but still find it quite alarming.

I am pretty sure that 'missing account' form is for your Nationwide account that you don't see in you online banking.

Thanks Grumbler, yes that's what I think too, just find it odd that the account has gone missing from my online banking in the first place. I just hope they get back to me soon (and give me back my Flex Direct).

If it helps, I've just logged onto my accounts via their iOS app and can see my FlexDirect account ok. Maybe an overnight blip? :)

Overnight Saturday/Sunday is the most common time for banks to do updates to their systems, so I'd guess it's probably just one of those that meant it wasn't displaying correctly.

Thanks everyone. It is now showing on my online banking again.

I'll know if this happens again that it will just be a temporary thing. It was just a bit worrying as I've had online banking for over 10 years and I'd never noticed that with my Flex account.

mine is back as well like RB10 says it must have been and update issue. would have been more helpful if like other banks they let customers know when updates are happening.

See planned maintenance slots on their service availability page:

    http://www.nationwide.co.uk/contact_us/service_availability/service_availability.htm

    00:00-06:00 Sundays & Wednesdays

States any other maintenance is shown on that page.
    Hope this helps
