Can I draw pension early ?

    You are 'under threat of redundancy' at 53. So try to hold on for 18 months or so and then you will be 55?

    Retire at 55 under redundancy, and you might be able to take your pension w/o that reduction.

    In your case, even if you could take it, your pension would be so many years reduced, it could be less than 50%? It all depends on what your normal retirement age is- do you know? 60, and it would be 7* the reduction % (typically 5% but could vary) and if 65 it would be 12*.

    Better to get a part time job doing anything, get JSA while it is allowed, and hold off retiring if you can.
