Remortgage _ how much

Bought flat last year done it up and added equity

i wish to remortgage with current lender(HSBC) to pay off loan i took out to covr deposit.

Are there any solicitor costs to pay??

What other costs may there be???

    i hope i can give a few pointers on this issue as i have recently started the process.
    once remortgage has been agreed
    i paid for the mort. arrangement fee 499
    survey 339
    mortgage approved by another company as HSBC were not willing to convert mort. to BTL and raise money for deposit.
    i have to sort outlegal fees including transfer fee, VAT, solicitor fee, land registry fee around 750.
    and money to be transferred in 3 weeks as soon as i end thetie period with HSBC. i hope that helps.

    all the legal work was sone only a year ago when i bought the flat the solicitor costs seem alot as all i am doing is releasing some equity by remortgageing

    The easiest is to ask HSBC.
