Good luck, it was around 4 weeks ago today that I completed my full application with HSBC in branch. All went well and thankfully they were very very quick! Done the application on the Thursday and received the offer on the Monday!

Still waiting to hear from HSBC - spoke to them on Thurs and was told we would most likely hear on Friday. Called them yesterday and was told hopefully by the end of the day, and as yet we still haven't heard.

    Very nervous about it all!

Is it a re-mortgage or a purchase? If it's a purchase I'd suggest chasing it up as it could be time-critical, I don't know if on-line apps can be moved to a priority queue but certainly in-branch apps can in some instances.

I had a missed call at about 7pm, they then called my partner and confirmed that we were being offered the mortgage subject to survey.

Haven't paid anything yet because they couldn't get hold of me for the fees but it is good news!
