I sent three items via the post office (no insurance). This was for a customer via amazon. The first two go theirs but the third is claiming they still haven't. I dont know what to do. The post office...well i cant find anything on lost items. On th eother hand i dont know if i should believe the customer or not. He wants him money back. What should I do?

But you can get a certificate of postage for nothing!
As you have no proof of posting, I doubt that you would be able to claim anything from Royal Mail.
As to whether you should reimburse the seller, this depends on the terms and conditions of sale. Did you exclude liability from the point of postage? If not, then I would reimburse the buyer.Gone ... or have I?0 -
The only thing is i find it odd that the other two got theirs but this one didntDebts: Gym £[strike]465.75[/strike] Student account [strike]£1039.88[/strike] Overdraft [strike]£129.00[/strike] Credit Card [strike]£2772.22[/strike] Loan [strike]£6222.01 [/strike]

You'll have to refund your buyer. I always get a cert of posting for amazon sales for this reason.0

If you look at the Royal Mail (not Post Office) site it gives you all the information on claims for non-delivery. The Post Office can provide you with a Royal Mail claim form (P58) which tells you that the maximum claim is 100 times the value of a first class stamp (currently 34p). The claim is only for customers who can provide a Certificate of Posting which is available from the Post Office for all items mailed there - free of charge. Also the fee for Recorded Delivery (otherwise called 'Signed For') is 70p in addition to first or second class postage.
Royal Mail's customer service centre can clarify anything for you on 08457 740 740.Mortgage free due to an Employment Tribunal Appeal win. The ivory tower occupants tried to walk all over me.... that was a mistake wasn't it?0
