my ds1 bought me one of those gorgeous bouquet of flowers that are wrapped in ribbon and fancy leaf all gathered up with fancy string. they stood in some water and then placed in a lovely card/paper box. I am sure you know the type I mean. I left them as they were standing in the bag topping up with water since he bought them for me on Tuesday but now they are falling to pieces. was it the heat? should I have taken them out of the wrapper and placed them in a proper vase? or are they not lasting as they should have?

I had an Interflora bouquet from my OH which died and stank awfully. They replaced it and the same thing happened so we got a refund. They didn't seem to think anything I had done would have impacted both sets like that.
Did they have a little leaflet with guidelines of what to do ie. where to place, did they come with a sachet of liquid to feed them?0
