NRP earning less than £5 per week

Options
I've just had a letter stating that my X is now earning less than £5 per week therefore does not need to pay any CSA.
Basically he has stopped one job and informed them, and stated he is not working or claiming benefits.
If he does start work I have to inform them, how am I supposed to know?
The thing is he likes to play the system, so is either working 'cash in hand' or just hasn't told them about a new job.

Well you cannot know, however you can appeal or say every quarter request a re-assesment.

Do you have any mutual friends who you could ask?

If not, it's worth asking the CSA to investigate his circumstances every few months, just tell them you believe he's working (if you do). They can check to see if he's on benefits reasonably easily, although checking if he's working will take a couple of weeks.

.....maybe something like no giro's, only a room for shelter provided and a meal ticket once a day for a feed............that will defo make them think upfront!

as you're not providing even for yourself never mind your offspring! :|
