As Lovefilm tend to, they've sent me a 'free 30-day VIP Card'. The number printed on is unique, but I don't believe it's limited to one use, so different people can use the same code.
It's available for anybody, and although I've not read all the details, it's probably the usual unlimited, 2 discs at home package for 30 days free. The code I've got is "9EGBARTEA". All you need to is enter it at https://www.lovefilm.com
Don't forget to cancel before the 30days is up if you don't want to pay for the service.
