There are pleanty on ebay, although when I was looking I found them all much the same. I ended up in Bentalls where they had a much wider specific selection selection & paid £25 for my sons little shorts suit, they had traditional & modern. John Lewis had a fantastic selection especially of the more traditional type but in limited sizes.

Hi,
I am also looking for a beautiful Christening gown.
I have found the two best sites on the net are mischiefkids.co.uk
and Honfluer.co.uk.
I have decided to purchase a gown called Grace from Honfluer.
Some of the most beautiful gowns are by Little Darlings and Collins and Hall for Boys.If you like princess frilly then Little darlings is for you...if you like old worldy charm Collins and Hall.
If you recently saw Gerry Halliwells Bluebell being Christened.....it was a little darlings gown called Gloria.
Hope this helps.
I have been planning my christening for months ,however I have noticed that baby celebrations arnt as big as Im used to, in the States.
Anyway I have decided now is not the time to be a money saver and I am gonna go to town on my little girl.
Hope your christening is fantastic:)Where is Narnia and how do I get there? That wardrobe salesman lied to me:rotfl:0 -
For DS2's christening in 2005 I crocheted his gown. Took a little while, but was very pleased with the results...

Awww...:D
I would have liked a gown, but DH wasn't keen, so we compromised - poor DS will be wearing a top and bloomers - he'll hate us when he gets older...:DThe IVF worked;DS born 2006.0
