An update

Can't be bothered to go and find my diary

Just thought I would update everyone coz it's been about a week since I came on here

Well ..... tax credits have given some extra pennies (must have finalised our award from last year and sorted this years) so we have now cleared Barclaycard woo hoo!!!!!!!!

It was our Wedding Anniversary on Friday and we resisted the temptation to go out and had an Indian takeaway instead which was exactly the same meal from the same restaurant as we would have had, but a fraction of the price. Spent a total £22.50 on the meal (would have been £30 in the restaurant) and £5 on 8 cans of Carlsberg :D
Last time we went out it cost £90 including babysitter, so that is quite a saving.

I have then spent the whole weekend revising as I have an exam on 12th June for my OU course which is my penultimate degree course

... and I also had my car theory test today .... which I passed ..... :j

Moneywise we are doing really well and everything is on target ... saving loads with not having a car at the moment so debt-busting is going great-guns and we have a holiday to look forward to as well in just under 5 weeks :D

Well done on the barclaycard! And the theory test!!

Congrats on your anniversary too. Are you going anywhere nice on holiday? (why do people always say that - it's not as if you would have booked a holiday to somewhere horrible is it?!).

Here's your diary by the way :D

awww i thought i had my own stalker then snaggles ;)

    only kidding

thanks guys .... I couldn't have done any of it without you lot. 2 more cards to go now, one with approx £400 on and one with approx £900 on and then no more paying interest as the rest of our debt is old stuff with DCAs and no interest on it :)

That is our current goal - get rid of the cards asap

According to my snowball they will be gone by October but I want them gone by end of August ... so that is my challenge
