Liver Cake for use as Dog Training Treats

Options
With a really good Dog Treat like this, you can very nearly even train your dog to bake some Liver Cake for itself.

:rotfl:

Once made in your cake tray, you can cut the cake into smaller chunks, wrap it in cling film and then freeze it . Duly taking it out of the freezer as and when required so as to cut into small approx. 10mm x 10mm pieces for use as treats.

Ingredients

450grms Lamb or Ox Liver
450 grms SR Flour
3 Eggs
2 Cloves Garlic (Yes! Seriously!)
Milk or Water

Method

Crack the eggs into a measuring jug.
Add an equal volume of milk or water to the jug
Whilst whisking, gradually add all of the SR flour

Blend the liver and garlic in a food processor
Add the whisked liquid from the measuring jug to the processor
Blend until the mixture is 'sponge cake mixture consistency'

Empty the prepared mixture onto a greased baking tray
(eg. 9" x 13" approx. The depth of mixture will be about 1")
Bake in the oven at 180 C for 35-45 mins
Allow to cool
Cut into 12 pieces and wrap each one in cling film for keeping in the freezer
When required for Dog Treats defrost the cake piece and cut into smaller 'Treat-Sized Pieces' to suit your dog size

Whilst cooking it smells a bit like chocolate cake. Wierd or wot?

Anyhow, dogs do seem to go potty for it!

This Liver Cake is 'Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy'. Do try a bit for yourself. It may well help to improve some of your cake baking skills.
