Mortgage on investment only income

Hi, this might be a weird situation but.....my husband & I have a regular monthly income but this does not come from salary.
My husband receives a monthly private pension (he is a fair bit older than me) and we both receive fixed monthly income from private investments with Canada Life - evidence etc of this can be provided.
Currently we rent but would like to put down roots & buy, rather than liquidate from investments we wonder if there is anyone out there that who offers a mortgage based on this kind of income?

The pension will be accepted.
Investment income from Canda Life, if this is from a private annuity then yes.
If the income is from investment bonds, dividends from shares or any volatile asset backed vehicle (where both the value of your investment and income can fluctuate and you can withdraw the investment at will), then you'll struggle to place, given for all intends and purposes there is not gte of the income for the foreseeable future.
Hope this helps

Liquidate some of the investments to allow you to inject further capital into the purchase.0
