Just thought I'd share that my new assesment following a departure application has increased by over 1000 yes that's right 1000% . Departure upheld on Lifestyle Inconsistency.

:j

Whether I ever get to see of any of it remains to be seen.:(

The departure application is probably what you are doing to challenge lifestyle inconsistency.

It is asking the CSA to depart from their normal simplistic formula to assess.

This is my 3rd departure request and all others were refused.

Is the NRP actually paying what should be paid at the moment? I had a far better case the CSA could actually see my NRP's bank account. Therefore he didn't really have a leg to stand on.

no he isnt, BUT the CSA are paying the money they are taking from me and paying it into his bank account. He is hiding assets etc so at pay me 1/10th of what i pay him, (yet he isnt even doing that)

So can i ask them to look properly (thoroughly) and they should do it? Kevin on here suggested i also drop HMRC a line about tax evasion......

so a departure request is like giving them as much info as possible and asking them to do something with it?

Just ring them up and ask for a departures form. Have you never applied for a departure before? Just saying on the phone that you think the assessment is wrong won't get you anywhere.

There are a few grounds for departure. They are all explained in the form.

    Good Luck.

  • Depending on which system you're on, departures are also called variations.

    thats great thank you.

i have kept my mp informed (or her assistant) but now they are asking me what i want them to do....

so i shall request that and also request that they chase upmonies owing to me and possibly deduct it from my payments to him. I dont want them allowing him to run up a debt because i kow he will never pay it.

    does that sound reasonable?
