Make NO payment to these thugs until you have a letter which clearly states that the payment will be accepted as 'Full and Final' settlement of the debt.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

  • Hi Claire Sorry forgot to advise it is NOT a debt but an ALLEGED debt. That could be quite important so always remember to use the word. Also for what it's worth GE Money (also part of the Yorkshire Mafia) has been fined some £600,000 this year for the mis-selling of PPI (payment protection insurance) and according to the business media is in line for repaying up to £10 million to debtors for the scam.
