HSBC Homestart Mortgage - FTB

We are FTB looking for a 90% mortgage on around 130k. We have found a homestart mortgage with HSBC allowing you to pay interest only for the first 3years on a 5yr fixed rate mortgage. This is ideal as we are both young and due substantial payrises over the next few years.

I was just wondering whether there are any other providers that offer anything similar as I can't really find anything to compare this deal with?

Also is it wise to seek advice from an independant financial advisor and do you pay for their services and if so roughly how much?

You can pretty much set up any mortgage on an interest only basis and change to a repayment basis when it suits you
