Does anyone know...??

I started getting debt collectors letters so decided to face facts and get my credit reports from Callcredit, Experian and Equifax. However, there are no debts on there. Can anyone tell me why this is? Im making 2 payments to 2 different debt collectors each month and one a week to HMCS but theres no sign of them on my credit reports.

Did you put in any old addresses if you have moved since running them up?

Who are the creditors? It could just be that the creditors you owe money to don't report to the reference agencies!

Provident which went to Wescot debt collectors, BFC book club which went to another debt collector i forget the name of and Avon, who i forgot to metion before but iv sorted out a payment plan with them before they sent it to a debt collector.

The HMCS one is a payment to the court for a fine that dates back to 2004

It's very odd, esp the HMRC one - but to be honest if they're not showing on your credit reports at all I would just keep your finger's crossed that they don't show up as it just means your rating looks better!

I take it you are absolutely sure that you owe these debts?

Yup...totally sure...Letters were getting sent to my Mums after i moved out and i just kind of though they wouldnt catch up with me if you see what i mean. I know theres some more out there too which is why i got the credit reports in the first place so i could get them altogether and get some kind of DMP or something before more letters come through the letterbox when the rest eventually catch up with me.
