JSA Contribution Based & More General Finance

Greetings,
Myself and my partner are moving in together (YAY) and I have a job a supply teacher. It is a secure maternity contract, but my concerns now go to the holiday periods.

To date, I have worked consistently since September 2012. I was on JSA June - Sept 2012, and prior to that a student with holiday jobs.

I am wondering, more thinking to the big 6 weeker next year, could i claim JSA cont based with contributions spanning Sept 2012 , July 2014.

Is there any other help i could get for holiday periods? my yearly income is 17k, his is 22k. WE are both under 25
