My poor postie didn't have my son's copy. She said she'd delivered loads too.

Played the first couple of missions. Controls will take some getting used to as I'm more practiced with Call of Duty controls.

Game is great so far, feels very GTA... if you know what I mean.

Yes I get what you mean.

I know mine is at home waiting, but come 8pm tonight, kids out of way, no work tomorrow and beer cracked open, I am going to give this a good coat of looking at :)

Managed to get a couple of hours in this morning before work got in the way. Liking it so far. Drops you right in the action, which is an improvement over the last couple of GTAs that have started on a rather dull note. Car handling is going to take some getting used to.

It's clearly pushing the 360 to the limit of its graphical capabilities but I've not noticed many graphical glitches or any gameplay lag. City is very vibrant and lifelike, with distinct neighbourhoods and a lot of natural clutter and props.

Had a go at the tennis minigame too. Better than any other tennis game ever made :D
  • When do you unlock the other characters so you can jump into their world?

You unlock the ability to switch between Franklin and Michael a handful of missions into Franklin's story. Keep doing missions for Sideon and eventually you'll end up at Michael's house and after that mission is complete then Michael becomes available. It's only a few missions in.

Haven't got to Trevor yet but I haven't been spending that much time on missions.
  • Sideon's place is always shuttered up, I'm doing some tow truck stuff for some crack head at the mo lol

Ah, yes, I did that. It may be that you have to do that mission in order to unlock more of Sideons. I can't remember.

The tow-truck one was the first "Strangers and Freaks" mission and the game brought attention to it so I went over to do it.... bit of a "would you kindly?" moment there. :rotfl:

Anyway, I got to Micheal. You need to pull out front of Sideon's place rather than round back where you go first of all.
