Large Parcels

Morning All

I need to send a couple of large items to an address in the UK. I've done some digging and the cheapest I can get it at the moment is approx £65.

Does anybody know of a way to get it any cheaper ?

    Come and have a browse on the ebay forum, lots of threads there about couriers, plus important ones about which to definitely avoid!

    interparcel(.co.uk) are very good, not as cheap as some of the ebay resellers, but they provide a good service at a reasonable price.

    Look at Parcelforce's prices but make sure you use the 'consignment' option. A consignment is when more than one item is going to the same address and if you use their guaranteed services it can work out quite cheap. How heavy is the total of the consignment? Can look the price up for you as I've got their non-contract tariffs downloaded.
    Mortgage free due to an Employment Tribunal Appeal win. The ivory tower occupants tried to walk all over me.... that was a mistake wasn't it?

    i used the above to pick up a coracle from scotland to southampton which they did for only £30.picked up on a tuesday and i had it the next day.great service and cost.
