I wanna vacuum cleaner

My vacuum cleaner is on its last legs. Well I did get it second hand 12 years ago so it's done good service.

I want a new one that is really efficient and reliable. Lightness a factor too as we have lots of steep narrow stairs.

Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner that works really well. If it's possible to get a good deal, go through Quidco or whatever, all the better.

    Hi,

I'm looking to sell my dyson DC04 loking for about £40 ish.
Single bloke owner in a 1bed flat (so it hasn't been worked too hard, :rotfl: )

Live in the south dorset area, but work in warwick area for the time being.

Hope that this is of some help.

HI villeroy - unfortunately my OH says we don't want a Dyson, and I bow to his superior knowledge! Good luck - I hope you find a buyer.

Get a Henry, long flex, powerful and made in England.

Thanks all - particularly for the Which information.

My OH does not want a Dyson as he says they are heavy (I've never used one so don't know). We have steep narrow stairs so need something small and light that will fit on the stairs without falling on top of us (a hazard with the current one!)

I'm mainly concerned that it should work really really well, there are six of us in the house so it gets pretty dirty.

Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate it.

We have narrow curving stairs and the long hose on the dyson works a treat on them.
Agreed it is heavy and I don't think it is all the marketing hype would have you believe, but I did get our one at a very good price.
