Does anyone know if there is a website/store that sells good cheap mega drive games?
I have kept most of my mega drive games but there are a few that I have sold over the years and would like to play again but finding them is hard!

Have a look here... http://www.retrogames.co.uk
I've taken to emulation for most of my retro gaming now. I still own my originals but most are stored away. I do drag my Atari consoles out every now and then though.0 -
One of the best ways to get old game is at a boot fair, people will sell just about any Mega Drive game for 50p or so since they don't know about any which are worth a little bit.0

Although you do get a few that no exactly what they're worth
Retro gaming is big business nowadays. I saw a very rare Master System game sell for £3,000 the other monthKnowledge is a tool, and like all tools, its impact is in the hands of the user.0 -

Have you tried using an emulator? Saves hunting down hard to find stuff and paying stupid money for it.0

How do you know which games are rare/worth a bit of money?0

Look them up on eBay - if you're registered, you can do an advanced search, and tick 'completed listings only' - this will show you the auctions that have ended. If the price is green, it sold, if red, it didn't. Look at the green prices and compare to your own game's condition.
Same applies to any item you need to know the value for!0 -

There's a website I used to frequent, can't remember the name for the life of me, that was dedicated to retro games. They also had a system of rarity per game. Ebay isn't always the best to gauge rarity as sometime you can pick up a gem for a cheap price.Knowledge is a tool, and like all tools, its impact is in the hands of the user.0 -
ET The Game is worth MILLIONS apparently, as Atari produced loads, it didn't sell, and was dumped.
Is that the late '80's? so Atari VCS/2600?
It is worth so much that a company is digging up a landfill site to recover the dumped cartridges.
I think the website quoted above is your best bet, as they are free, I think? I know I have used a similar website and have EVERY Sega Megadrive game on my PC.
Also some old computers are worth money, my Commodore 3000H pong machine is extremely rare apparently
Otherwise send me a PM, and I could burn them for you, if its legal? If you want to play Sega on the PC? I got a convertor so my ps2 controller works on my pc.
I've also got MAME that emulates arcade machines, Paperboy, and the like, and virtually every computer, Atari, Amiga, BBC emulators also.
The ONE game I can't get is the Archimedes game 'Chocks Away' grr! or a 'proper version of Cube Hopper.0
