NEWSPAPER SUMMARY - Monday 4th June

My local Lidl didn't have the juice in stock, they said to come back tomorrow.
Not a problem, as I stocked up on juice in Tesco courtesy of two £1 vouchers.

I got 4 juices and will get another 1 tomorrow or Wed.

Had a funny moment with one of the cashiers.
She didn't know about the offer.
Didn't understand how I could use a newspaper cutting for some juice.
Asked for the manager.
He came and explained how to put it through.
She's then even more confused because the balance was ZERO.
She's then back at the manager saying I hadn't paid anything for it.
He explained that that was how it was supposed to work.
This concept of "free" was obviously totally alien to her.
She started to question that the manager had got it wrong and didn't know what he was doing.
I think she started to say it couldn't be right to give things away.
I looked at the manager - he looked at me.
At that point I grabbed my juice and left
