Records/Albums

Hi, a family member died recently and left me with around 500 LP records/albums. I wondered whether I could get anything for them and if so, how I would go about it? It seems a shame to take them to a charity shop, when I could really do with some extra cash. Does anyone have any ideas please? Thank you.

If any of them are likely to be editions that would fetch above average, you may want to try your luck on eBay.
If it's all run-of-the-mill, you may want to get quotes/offers from your local charity or vinyl specialist, and try them as a job lot with that as a starting price.
Much will depend on what they are - first pressings of the early Led Zeppelins can raise almost £2,000 on eBay0 -
