Urgent - Evening Dress Required

Just been invited to a charity ball next Saturday night but have a dilemma now as need to buy a posh evening dress etc. Does anyone know where I can find a reasonably priced dress in the glasgow area.

Have you got a tk maxx near by they usually have designer dresses fairly reasonable. The one near me has Ted Baker for £29.99.

in bristol we have a shop in some areas called quest who do reasonable priced evening dresses maybe you could find one in your local phone book or on the website near you, i brought a long satin blue dress with a diamond broach it is low cut at the front and very fitting and lots of people have commented on it and it looks like a dress you would wear to a premier i paid £35 for it, it was an amazing price for a dress like that and it came with a satin shaw as wel

    hope this helps

I would say TK Maxx is your best bet.

There used to be a second hand designer shop in Royal Exchange Square. Don't know if it is still there. They used to have loads of ball gowns etc. I think that TK MAX is a good idea too

Try Debenhams. My friend and I were invited to similar thing at short notice last year and she managed to pick up two dresses (one a designer one for under £60) which were both very suitable for the evening. At the do there was an incredible mix from the classic long black dress to short colourful numbers. So feel comfortable in whatever you were and just enjoy the event.
