Roasted this today,cooled off and put the flesh in a container to freeze,is this ok?

Hi there
My DD cooks loads of Butternut Squash - she mainly used it as weaning food for DGSs. DGS3 due fairly soon so no doubt she will do same for him. She used to do big batch cooking for the boys and then freeze - no problem at all. The other thing she used to batch cook was sweet potato and that freezes well too.
