I ordered one of these too. I was holding out for a Jack La Lanne, but for this price, I'll make the sacrifice!0

I have a juicer very similar to this and whilst i love it and use it. Cleaning it is a nightmare.
My mate bought Jacs of the telly and it needs no cleaning at all, and is a bit easier to use. But at that price i thought forget it.
Don't try putting orange peel in your juice cause it tastes vile. I love carrot and celery. With a few ice cubes.
Forget trying strawberries cause they just splatter and you get nothing out of them better to eat them.0 -

Think I'll get one of these too.
Last year I bought a Russell Hobbs Juicelady Pro (also half price at the time, down to £50) and it lasted exactly two glasses of juice and died. As did the replacement, as did the replacement for the replacement! It was great value, but I felt I spent more time cleaning it and taking it back to the shop than the juice was worth.Really fancied one of the Jack La Lane ones but looks wise it's not that sleek and is pretty expensive if you are not sure how much you'll actually use it. This one looks like a nice one to try, thanks.

I've noticed that the Jack La Lane ones have some worrying reviews with regards to the quality of the product.0

I've had the Jack La Lane one for nearly a year now and we have had no problems with it - very easy to use and you can put the whole fruit in (apples, pears, obviously pineapples etc will need to be cut down to size).
The juice is wonderful and very quick to clean - just put the bits in the dishwasher or like me get the other half to do it!! (only joking!)2008 Club Member: 433
