Do I have to surrender my endownment?

I am thinking of selling my house to move into rented. Reasons 1. Over commited struggleing to pay bills as just gone self employed. 2. Need larger house. 3. Need nicer area for schools.

What I would like to know is, I have a repayment and an endownment mortgage with the same company and I want to know if I have to surrender my endownment when I sell my house or whether I could continue to pay it?

If it could continue to pay it will it have the same benefits?

Coming off the property ladder I would like to have some sort of saving plan for my children and being able to keep the endownment going seens the ideal solution.
