Not sure if you have a Lidl near you but they had some freeze pops in there the other week (although they are quite weak in flavour tbh).

Yep, know what you mean about the washing not drying so quickly - same here in the 'Shire. Just frozen the elderberries I picked the other week - they had been sat in the fridge as I thought I'd use them sooner, some were going a little furry  hoping that they will be ok when turned into jam - otherwise I'll give them back to the garden and pick some more tomorrow.

Our mog loves her laser, my DM bought it for her last xmas and she's 8 now (mog not DM :rotfl:) Oddly not overly fussed about catnip though, neither her nor our prev mog cared for the cat nip choc drops you can buy. Fickle creatures that they are :)

No lidl near us unfortunatly making use of frozen squash and cat cuddles. :rotfl: at your Dm not being 8.hope the elderberries are ok. I've not found any blackberries and feel to rough to go looking now.

Is your cat fussy with food?

Morning, yep - she can be fussy with food. Tins are a no no, she has pouches - particularly keen on the new Whiskas Lick and Chew and Bite and Chew ones. Hates the Whiskas Ohhhh Soooo... and Felix As Good As It Looks though. Generally I try and mix them about a bit (depending on whats on offer ;)) so she doesn't get bored. Of course, if her current fav is on offer and I stock up, she immediately refuses to eat them :rotfl: Oh and she's nuts about the Dreamies cat treats too.

Loads of blackberries still about, prob not time to get any more today, hope there's some still when I do get a chance to go out for some more.

Take care of yourself PM - more important things than blackberries going on for you atm xx

    Evening all.

Hope everyone is well. Will try and catch up later with what you have all been up to. Just back from holiday at the weekend, but what a hectic time since home. Came home to find we have had a powercut and the freezer had de-frosted. We had a similar problem last year, again after our hols, but that was the freezer just packed up! This time, freezer was off along with other electrics in the house! So annoyed as it was full as I had been busy cooking and freezing stuff the week or two before we went away to save time this week as I knew it would be busy at home.

DS & GF are moving into their own first home this week, so they are really excited at finally being on the property ladder. They are decorating their bedroom before they move in and have furniture delivered then once they have moved, we will be going to help them with other rooms. Whole place needs some TLC, but nothing insurmountable.

Now off to list the items and the prices of the food in the freezer! Wouldn't mind, but hardly any whoopsies in there, all full price stuff so save me time this week!
  • Good evening everyone:)

Heavy rain showers here today and dark so early :(:(:(

SND :eek::eek: to freezer what a pain to sort out not very nice welcome back from your hols
