Good morning, nice to wake up and have a laugh :) I wonder if we will get the heatwave that has been forecast. Only a few weeks and it will be the countdown to Christmas and Advent calenders will be in the shops :eek::eek:Is it my old age or is this year flying by :(

The pleasure beach at Blackpool is £8 instead of £9, not a great saving but every little helps and all that. I did notice they started doing season passes for the pleasure beach this year although I doubt I'll ever get enough for one never mind two as hardly shop at Tesco. The only decent points I get from them is via bzz agent and Orchard.

All my local store seem to leave the final reduction till very late especially on a Sunday. I went to Sainsburys on Sunday at 3.30pm and asked when they were going to reduce again as they were all half price and was told in about half an hour. I said don't you shut at 4pm and was told yes but it takes half an hour for people to go through the tills. Makes me wonder if the staff in my local stores want all the reductions.

Hi AH - yeah I'd spotted that thanks. Not sure if we'll do any of those yet. We might be going to Alton Towers sometime but they never seem to be as good value as there always seems to be 2 for 1 offers around. We might do Sea Life Centre, be great for FD

Morning, glorious isn't it, not that I got out the office today. However, my washing is dry, I think I do have a ton of tom plants , and our wisteria is starting to bloom and will soon smell lovely.

Lovely day yesterday, got the back garden done, my dh and ds did the lawn and I did some weeding. Then my dh was in the bathroom and got stung by a wasp. Hope we don;t get too many wasps as he had to kill one in the lounge as well.

CW if they're anything like bees then they are prob just starting to look for nests at the moment. Fingers crossed they don't choose a site near you. Saying that we had a nest in our garden wall last year and I was only the end of the summer we noticed it.
