    HI

I really am not sure about this- it's been really quiet on the board today though, so maybe some more will come on tonight who can help with this. Are you with a company (cccs etc) or doing your DMP alone? Have you been on it long or just a short time?

I settled with Barclays but can't rember the figure sorry. Think it was around half:o

You could try offering say 40% and work up if they don't accept most will settle for 75%.

with CCCS for the past 8 months and churchwood financial previous to that for about 6 months (silly me). I know just short of 12k may not seem like much to some but its really doing my head in. My boyfriend was thinking of doing like 30 - 40% offer (if possible) on my behalf and i pay him back.

Give it a try the worst they can say is no. Make sure you inform them it's from a third party so they don't try to chase you for higher payments.

    anyone else?

You can check your DMP online with CCCS they have a full and final payment calculator.Just put in the amount of money you have to pay your creditors and it will work out a percentage to pay each one. There is also a template letter to send them with the offer.
    Hope this helps.
