Phone call win but not confirmed!

My wife received a phone call on 18/06/2013 saying I had won a TV and Xbox 360 plus games and that they would confirm by letter. The caller mentioned a Head & Shoulders competition but I can't find it on MSE. I have not received any confirmation and I don't know who to contact as my wife didn't get a name or contact number from the caller. Any ideas as to what I can do would be welcome.

    If the call was received on then 18th - then I would wait until 18th July to follow it up, the prizes might be coming but, even a letter might take 28 days! :)

    I'd wait a little while longer then follow it up with the person who rang you :)

    Quite difficult when the OP says they have no clue who it was that rang :)

    As nelie says, if they have your address etc, the prize could well arrive without any letter being sent. Hope so, let us know how you get on and good luck.

    Do you get an itemised phone bill?
    If so check the calls you got on that day.
    Call back the number who called you and ask them what's happening.

    That's what I meant - I can see all my mobile calls and missed/received x

    Thanks for all of the replies - some good advice. I will wait until the month is up and then if I have not heard anything I will endeavor to chase it up. Will keep the forum updated with any progress.

    Good news, I got in touch with Head & Shoulders consumer department and told them about the call my wife had received - two days later I had an email confirming my win and have had another today saying my prize has been ordered and will be delivered within 5 working days. I am so pleased and relieved about this (and so is my wife).
