Small claims court claim after BR

Hi all
Just wondered if anyone can help me with this please.
I'm thinking of taking my ex business partner to court for money she stole from our business ( which led to my bankruptcy)
My question is would any money I got back be of any interest to the OR?
I've been discharged nearly 6 mths with no IPA.

Any pre BR asset belongs to the OR, that includes any monies recovered in the situation you describe as far as I can see, however, suing them for causing your BR, if successful, any award the court makes for damage/distress could be yours, as that's an award after the fact, however, the cost of doing so may not be worth it, it could take years with no positive outcome....

If you won, do they have the money/assets to pay you? be careful, even if you won, you may still get nothing.

It's not really about the money it's more about them getting away with it that upsets me.

totally understand, think I've reached the age to say this, just get on with your life, if they get there's, bonus!, I spent many a night banging my head against a wall saying 'yeh I fkd up, but how the hell was I allowed too?, just before the banks collapsed hope you get what im trying to say;)
