i often wonder what it is that makes people act like they're 14 again when sex is mentioned. poor guy comes for some advice and gets 'free stds and pregnancy' thrown in his face when he asks for magazines etc, as well as saying he's got loads of condoms.

i know it's meant as funny remarks and jokes but it just feels a bit immature and if i was the op, it would put me off from posting again - or actually anyone else who's after the same advice. i'm sure his post benefited a lot of people who wouldn't ask themselves in the first place and/or wouldn't admit to have followed the advice.
  • would have been better if had posted in the right place to start with.

They seemed to find it in the spirit it was intended, and although long gone now (this thread is very old!) they did post quite a bit afterwards.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

    nice one!
  • just think of all the spam that comes with these sites tho....

I have 2 email addresses. One, my main one, for genuine companies, orders etc and a second gmail address which I use for signing up to these kinds of things. It gets hundreds of SPAM emails a month but its fine.

Sure the OP took the posts in the manner in which they were intended. If someone posts asking for free adult stuff I very much doubt they would be the type that would be easily offended or not expect some jokey comments thrown in (otherwise they would just use google and find out for themselves.) If you didnt think this was quite a light hearted thread, you best not ever start a thread in Discussion Time or you would definately never post again!!
