Hi,
I am going on holiday in just under 3 weeks and would like to lose at least half a stone before I go. Can anyone recommend a programme which has given them fast results? I am not tremendously overweight, just want to lose the pounds which have crept on this year so that I can fit into my clothes comfortably and so that I don't feel self- conscious in swimwear. I have started doing 30 day shred every day, but need some inspiration for my food intake!
Is it possible to lose 7-10lbs before I go? Thanks for any advice x

Everyone is different and the rate at which they lose weight is different as well. Ive lost just under a stone but its taken me about 6 weeks, exercise, reducing my portion sizes, cutting down on alcohol and stopping eating fast food, not that I eat much of it anyway.
Im sure there are some quick fix diets that would get weight off rapidly but its whether you can maintain that, particularly as I assume you'll be relaxing the diet on holiday.0 -

Yes, I will be relaxing the diet on holiday! I know it's not a permanent solution, but I really want to shift as many pounds as poss before I go, to boost my confidence and also so that if/when I do put back on a few pounds on hol, it's not in addition to the ones I already want to lose0 -
Alternate day fasting or fasting in general:happyloveThank you, thank you, thank you :happylove0

I found the rosemary conley diet really good and you have time to losa weight before you go if you stick to it, she has loads of free advice on her excellent website http://www.rosemaryconley.com/ I didn't go for all the classes etc but you can if you want to. I just followed her flat stomach plan and the advice she gives is healthy anyway and I still stick to it now. My hubby lost weight and he didn't even know he was on a diet! I lost 3 stones in total and kept it off.
BTW worst thing you can do is starve yourself, your bosy goes into starvation mode and you can put weight on! Its not hard you can do it and have a lovely holiday at the end good luckSave £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

I was once told that the quickest way to loose 20 Lbs of ugly fat was
"To cut my head off"I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
As paulineb said, everyone reacts differently.
For me it was Atkins. I was eating high carb, and on the Atkins initial 2 week really low carb, I lost 9lbs in 14 days. But you do have to really know where the carbs are.0
