I bought a slide, climbing frame and swing from the Early Learning Centre about 8 years ago, and it's still going strong. Can't complain at the quality!

    Hi

We've just bought an outdoor play system from a company called Dunster House https://www.dhlogcabins.co.uk

    We're pleased with it

Can second the recomendation for the Early Learning Centre. Had a swing i slide when i was a child (im only in my late teens now) and they both lasted at least 12 years. You may pay abit extra (not sure havent been in the early learning centre in a while:rotfl: ) but they are definatly well built and last long.

  • im also looking to buy my son some outdoor play stuff.i looked in the shops and was quite suprised at the prices.of course with my young son, i would want something which was sturdy and long lasting but after hearing how solid the little tikes equipment is,i have now decided to buy 2nd hand of e bay.

most sellers will only let you collect the item,so change the option from the drop down bar from ENDING FIRST ---to---NEAREST FIRST and get to see who is selling one close to you.

there are some great bargains on there.now i can afford to buy my son 2 pieces and im sure no one will ever know the difference,,especially him!!

It has to be timber! And not just any timber, it has to be a modular timber system that you can expand. Kids are always going to want new adventure, and buying a system which can be appended too later on makes sense. I would have a look at the systems on offer from Climbing Frames UK. They are not the cheapest, but they do have offers on ex-demo units and the will come out to your house and put the unit together.

It's a question of how long you expect the unit to last and what you are prepared to pay, don't forget you ultimately get what you pay for. I am a great believer in buy cheap, buy twice!
