Free guest passes at David Lloyd during Wimbledon

I was in David Lloyd Warrington last night and there was a sign on reception saying that for any day during Wimbledon that a British player wins a match David Lloyd will allow free guest passes.
Sounds good BUT I don;t think just anyone can come in and ask to get in free. I think (and I haven't checked) that you need a friend who is a full member to come and sign you in as their guest.
We have had this before where they advertise a free pass blah blah but when I tried to get in it turned out you needed an adult member to sign me in. It didn;t say it on the info sheet in reception but it was only after I had packed up my swimming things and driven down with the children and tried to get in for free and got refused because we werent being signed in by an adult member!! They could have told us before I brought the children and got them excited about going swimming.
I don't know if it;s just Warrington branch or national. You will have to check. The Warrington branch is ridiculously poor at advertising their deals and offers so you will prob have to phone in and check.
