Going to a wedding in Galgorm manor in October and dont really fancy the expense of staying the 2 nights there. Are there any hotels nearby that would be a bit less expensive. ?

All of them are really close. Furthest away is Ross Park Hotel, approx 4 miles away. The others are all within 2 miles.0

If the wedding is on a Saturday and you plan on having a drink at the wedding and need a taxi back to where you are staying, book one well in advance. By which I mean, days or weeks in advance, rather than hours in advance. If you ring on a Saturday afternoon looking for a taxi that evening, you are likely to be told the earliest time they could collect you is 5.30 am on Sunday....
Don't know if this will apply to you or not, obviously you may be a non drinker, but I thought it was worth mentioning.0 -
