I'm sure we all know our place and fully accept that we are a devious, underhand, greedy, unpleasant etc etc lot - but Hellfire and brimstone, we are CERTAINLY a happy lot of deviants ! (and there are a lot of us so we won't ever be lonely).

I reckon all the trolls are upset as they have yet to master the art of wombling. Picking up receipts and chucking them in the bin is not what is required here

DG22, no one here sets themselves on a pedestal, mighty or otherwise.

We're predominantly here to save money, sharing tips on how to do so, and supporting each other with other RL issues too.

But you obviously see us as as being on a pedestal... interesting.

Cleaned my jewellery this afternoon. All of 5 minutes, quick silver tip:

In a glass bowl, place Aluminium foil, arrange jewellery on foil so it touches the foil as much as possible, add teaspoon bicarbonate of soda, add boiling water. Watch and be amazed for 5 minutes, then carefully pour off water, rinse and dry jewellery
