    Morning all :)

According to the very nice SA on the clothing department in my local store (superstore), the 4p items go into a cage in the back and every few months someone comes along to collect them from a charity. She said sometimes if they only have a small amount of items, they go to a larger store for collection.[

I am with you on this one ,not sure about the compactor idea as when I am on my trawl of charity shops which incidently is very frequent I am always coming across 4p items I have purchased previously in T's being sold in them ;) and do a little smile to myself, so know that this idea of going to charity is very true.

She is buying the tubes of john Freida(50ml).

They live with the John Freida proper sizes - 1.99 and 3for2 and hand over three coupons;) when you buy three.

These tend to be found only in Tosco extras (correct if wrong).

Ok, none in the store I went to yesterday, shall try another this morning.

All this talk of waste/compacting/incinerating reminds me of an attempted trouting...

SA: i can't sell those creme eggs because they are 1p
    Me: why not?
    SA: it's illegal
    Me: how is it illegal
SA: i don't know. I just know that they've to be taken away to be incarcerated
Me: incarcerated? what did they do?

I think she's still trying to figure it out :rotfl:

ETA: despite it being "illegal" the manager approved the sale.
