I love this kind of weather! Brill photo, thanks.

Thanks Mrs B yes this one. The big top we were in was bigger than this one further into the photo where it looks like the lightening fork to the left of the picture is coming down.

(That's if I have my sense of direction right, will check with Mr TS later. ;))

    Hi the elite
Sorry oh gave me the username, i'm cringing :o any how
A very heart felt Thank You to all on this thread for helping nearly reach my goal, hopefully I can help someone like you have all helped me, I am a newbie, so please bare with me, my spelling needs improving but my maths is ok, we were really struggling to make ends meet my oh was out of work for 8 months,he finally found a job, the same day he got the job I was made redundant, I was out of work 9 months, on top of that a so called very close friend also ripped us off,our retirement money gone, we got no help from anywhere so ended up with massive debts, this was 5 years ago and we are still paying off those debts
now i'm pretty savvy when it comes to our household spending, I do budgets every 3 to 6 months to see where we have been spending and what on, my weekly shopping bill has been creeping up and up, at the beginning of January 2013 my weekly shopping trip topped £80.00, there is only 2 of us, and a cat, so I have set myself a goal to get my weekly shopping down to £10. it has taken me 6 long months to stock all my cupboards and freezer on an average £30-£40 spend per week and that's with all your help thank you to everyone. I nearly reached my goal yesterday, this is my shop TvAvSvM

Also my t does not have the ready meals leaflets out on display, we were going past last Friday night, so i bob in to see if they had some, not a one, ask one of the members of staff milling around, who went and got me the night manager who in turn went and got me 2 leaflets, you can only have two he said, so went back next day with one of the leaflets and asked customer service guy, i told him they were out back and he came back with an handful so took the lot, customer service guy was shocked but laugh, on my way home i posted all the leaflet through all my neighbours doors, all my neighbours got 2 each and i kept 5 myself, maybe vouchercrazy is an apt username

Right, that's the garden readied for the oncoming apocalypse

I've even been making small holes in the grass out the back to try and avoid flooding on solid ground- I didn't have a garden fork so all I could use was a pair of stiletto boots :o

Must have looked rather amusing with dress, white leggings and black knee high stiletto boots :rotfl:

WOW thanks for the info, and that fab pic.... Looks like I got my predictions fairly spot on. :D

We watched it come closer Elsie, for about an hour, while waiting for the comedy to start, DD1 text us as was worried think her friends said it hit Poole about 11ish last night maybe a bit earlier.

It was really eerie driving home the steam coming off the country roads at 1am was like something out of a horror movie. :)

Glad we took our tent down yesterday afternoon, I don't do end of festival portaloos very well. The never get emptied on the last morning so I go without any alcohol on the last day to drive back early hours and wake up in my own home when it's all over. ;)
