:wave:Hi tiny glad you had a nice break.
I am hoping to keep cool this evening as I am off out with friends to the cinema to see The Great gatsby and am hoping their air con will be on.

Enjoy your evening and lets hope this Royal Baby arrives soon :)

    I'm free, I'm free!

I'm on my phone but would be eternally grateful if someone cranked up the jukebox a little early tonight with madonnas holiday. Pretty please

Not sure if its been said but I only spent £5.38 on cereal and it gave me 5p coupon
    Bought 3 Kellogg's cornflakes at £2.69 each on 342
    Ooh, so

    3 x 750g Cornflakes
    3 x 750g Frosties
    2 x 500g shreddies

    = £13.24 + 3 petrol coupons

    :)

    Edit : Or 6 x 750g shreddies = £20.34 + fillers ( v Sainsbobs)

pp back for £10 + 3 petrol coupons

I read this on the petrol thread when I came in, so did a calculation that I would like to run by some of you experts......

There are some cereals at £2.69 @ 3 for 2, and others £2.79 @ 3 for 2. For ease of my explaining, I will only use the £2.69 price.

    Purchase 9 boxes pay £16.14.
Before 3 for 2 kicked in price was £24.21

So if my theory and calculations are correct you should get 4 fuel vouchers for just over £16, and lots of cereal. :D

And there's more.... for those of you who love fruit and fibre anyway, but you'd have to get in there quick, coz you could also do a T v Sains shop where they are £1.34 a box till tomorrow.

    £5.38 for each 3 in T's and £4.02 for each 3 in S's so £16.14 in T's compared to £12.06 in S. TPP of £4.08

Shame I don't like fruit n fibre, :rotfl: but I did this calculation in the hope that sainsbobs may reduce another cereal to half price on wednesday. ;)

Please can someone check and (hopefully) confirm what i've written. :p

So if my theory is correct, 9 fruit n fibre and 4 kelloggs just right would get you all 6 fuel coupons and a nice healthy TPP, (and loads of cereal) can't quite bring myself to do any more maths. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think there's an extreme amount of paranoia based on events of the past and external groups which have sprouted. Just because someone is new to MSE, this thread or anything else does not make them a threat to anyone here or the 'ideas or schemes' touted here. There are a few here who need to relax a little regardless of so-called status just because you've been here a little longer.

Whilst I might get castigated for this, I think a few people need reminding of MSEs forum policy to newcomers.

Please be nice to all MoneySavers : There's no such thing as a stupid question and, even if you disagree, courtesy helps.

We are one thread on a forum of many. I am sure there is a place for people who don't like it on this thread. So perhaps rather than stirring and causing trouble on here they should bogof elsewhere.

    Hey all.
Sorry having a hectic day :(
Don't know if it's posted but I just noticed a free bottle of carling cider on MSL but it may only be available at sainsbees.
I swapped to Ts and the offer disappeared.
Sorry if it's already been mentioned :)

  • Just come back from A$da. Was hoping to pick up some Nivea things (to do a A vs S shop) but I couldn't find them anywhere in my store (looks like they are refurbishing it atm). So I just did a A vs T shop.

I did manage to pick up some things for MSL. Coke Zero, Dettol handwash and Gaviscon. I used my Danio coupon as well as it runs out at the end of the month and they're buy one get one free atm in Te$co.

Will post my APG results later.

I also picked up the new A$da magazine which has two coupons in. One for 50p off Golden Wonder 6 pack crisps and the other for £1 off Cushelle supersize.

Does anyone know what the limit is for the MSL things (i.e is it one per account?)? I still have all of the promos showing even though I've already redeemed some of them..
