Morning. Had a really lovely day yesterday. I took DS to see sis in London, he had a whale of a time but he was exhausted with the train and the bus and long day.
We are off to centre parcs sherwood forest on Friday (4 adults, 5 children under the age of 7:eek:). I've been doing meal plans, online ordering for food and am looking at bike hiring this morning. not even there and I'm fed up of the organising already whilst everyone else sits back and does nothing ... Oops, that became a morning rant!:rotfl: sorry :o

Hi tiger, thanks for the pm. I love centre parcs. Sherwood is only an hour away from us ( when DH drives) so I will give you a wave:wave:

Have you been before? If you have ignore the next paragraph. If not I can recommend the golf driving range to pass an hr or two. Its one of the very few activities that you dont need to book in advance. The swimming complex is fabulous, we went early to get a chair:rotfl:it's like getting a sun lounger in Spain!! We also took a little cool box with snacks for the kids as a lot of the food inside the swimming complex is burger and chip related. Which is fine but becomes a bit tedious when you are there for a week.
We went to whinfell in the lakes, just before christmas to see Santa. it was fabulous, fake snow, twinkly light, horse and carriage ride. :)

I'm in the process of booking for October:T

    Have a lovely time:)Mt2m

Good afternoon, grey and dull here again.

    Hope everyone is well
I planned a great shop this morning for t... I had a pp for £5.50, conditional £3 off £30, few mocs to use, msl cash back.
Got to t's, no mocs, pp, cs.... So annoyed with myself!!

So bought the toilet roll with moc I had in my purse and bread we needed!
Few BBQ tools reduced. Bought DH a value set for 50p and a fork for £1.

Came home to find my little pile of mocs on the bottom stairs step next to where I had put my handbag!!!
At least I hadn't lost them.

Will have to go back tomorrow or Wednesday now...

Off to supervise DD tidying her under bed drawers. I've given her a box to put the things in that she doesn't need/ want/ doesn't fit etc.... I bet it's empty when I go in.

Have a lovely afternoon ttfn Mt2m

Afternoon. I'm sat in the garden catching up - baking hot here.
Hope someone can help but OH has won a bid on some fancy (and very big) rattan garden furniture. Need to somehow get it from Brighton to Milton Keynes - any suggestions please?

On onto shipley and get a quote. Very easy to do and couriers bid to be cheapest. Does incur a charge but also means usually find a good local courier.
Site set upso you can put ebay listing in to show exactly whatbyou need moving from where. Also couriers often pick up when passing and often drop to you when passing your way which keeps cost low.
