Got a couple of vouchers to use up at Sains today. Anyone got any ideas to get a good BM

    Tia :)

    Morning everyone :)

What sort of stuff are you looking for?

    My favourites atm are

    2 x Princes 4 x 160g tuna - £10 S, £6 A, BM £4
    4 x Branston beans 4 pack - £10 S, £4 A, BM £6

Some of the Rustlers vs T work out free I think

Brilliant. That will do. Need tuna and bake beans and can just get sains own make to make up what I need for the coupons. Thanks a lot

Off to walk the dog first before the temp reaches 35C  :eek::eek:

Hi there - Savvy go to bed!:) I did go to bed, but have woken up a little early - a bit groggy but I'll be ok.

Much of the shopping I did last time (a couple of days ago) should still be valid vs T (some of T's offers due to expire tonight though, so be quick and check t.com):

Here's a... list:D (quite a few of these fillers though, which won't get BM back though you could just kill a £10 bm on them, even though no new one back). Trackers seem quite good in terms of amount towards BM - two for one at T £1.89. £4.00 S (2x £2.00) and mix and match does work.

(Fillers indicated by N/A or by same price for S and T.)

    Sainsbury's Basics Pancakes (6)20p N/A
    Sainsbury's Chicken Thighs & Drumsticks (660g)£2.00 N/A

The Askey's Round Cones 21 that I bought on Sat. are no longer on - T have just increased their price from £1.00 to £1.10 - so now £1.10 vs £1.10, loses you all of 10p:rotfl:- Savvy leapt in there, yet again it seems, immediately before the expiry of a lower price:D.

[Strike]Vs A seems more difficult at the mo. - due to me not thinking round pounds are very good and waiting, instead, for someone (such as T) to cut their price to £1.00 and then go Avs T for 90p net.[/Strike] Actually quite a lot of good Svs A items, there are always more on that list due to me excluding from Svs T any that can be got Avs T for the 10%.

The Branston Beans on Svs A seem v.v. good if they work. Beware of some where the A price is a number of pounds as A's price may have increased (check the price graph on the A side of msm) - I haven't had time to check and delete some of these off.

You may struggle to find all of these items in your store. I couldn't find all of them in my larger store.

    But I've got:
    S vs A
All the Sains. own brands as above
Jif Natural Strength Lemon Juice (55ml)55p 20p (now that Waitrose isn't 20p anymore -why? Former AvsW)
Silver Spoon Create Orange Flavour Buttons (100g)£1.29 83p
Silver Spoon Create Strawberry Flavour Buttons (100g)£1.29 83p
Branston Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce (4x410g)£2.50 £1.00:T:T
Dole Tropical Gold Pineapple Slices in Juice (567g)£1.10 50p (I think price incr. of a few pence at A, despite msm's graph)
Del Monte Mango Iced Smoothie (3x90ml)£1.24 N/A (in effect a price incr. as was S vs T's former £1.00)
Del Monte Raspberry Iced Smoothie (3x90ml)£1.24 N/A (as above)
    Young's Salmon Pie (300g)£1.00 N/A
Birds Eye Pastry Bakes Salmon with Dill Sauce (2 per pack - 344g)£2.00 N/A

    Alpen Strawberry & Yogurt Bar (5x29g)£1.99 £1.00
Alpen Light Bars Double Chocolate (5x19g)£1.99 £1.00
Alpen Light Cherry Bakewell Bars (5x19g)£1.99 £1.00

    Remember to check a.com.

The N/As from either list could be used as a 'Sains cheapest shop' e.g. bought with a £10 bm back (just spending just £10 or a few pence over) as then it uses up the BM and doesn't have it kept with you threatening:eek: to expire.

Bizarrely whilst going through Svs A, I found a few more items for Avs W (will have to tell you about later as I'm going off for work) - former BM items where W is now cheapest or same price as A.:rotfl::T

Morning. Had a really lovely day yesterday. I took DS to see sis in London, he had a whale of a time but he was exhausted with the train and the bus and long day.
We are off to centre parcs sherwood forest on Friday (4 adults, 5 children under the age of 7:eek:). I've been doing meal plans, online ordering for food and am looking at bike hiring this morning. not even there and I'm fed up of the organising already whilst everyone else sits back and does nothing ... Oops, that became a morning rant!:rotfl: sorry :o
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

I love planning holidays, never happier than when we go to Florida and I plan all the meals and days.

Ive had way too many cucumbers!! I don't know the varieties off hand but I have a grafted plant that is supposed to grow half sized ones that is producing whoppers  and lots of them, one that's more like supermarket cukes and another that has ' lemon cucumbers' these are ball shaped. I've been giving them away to my neighbours. I'll take pics tomorrow. No ripe toms here yet, though. I took this pic about 3 weeks ago

Passanda or passandra or something very similar. They're dwarf- ish ones and grow to about 6-7 inches. I've got them in the greenhouse but they are fine to grow outside :)

Thanks, QoC, will look out for that variety.
