Was it ever in danger of dying?:D
Back from Sains (my Teskies:D).
Darn those S multibuys!! Leaving very few quarterpounders on the shelf for me. Spent some time trying to find them, and grabbed the last one. They are on 2 for £3, thus encouraging general Joe Public to buy them, when they only need to buy one as T is £1.00. Although even when multis are avail, people often miss them (well, they notice them, but I mean they miss taking them up, as they still just buy one. Saves the store cutting the individual price and ends up with people paying exactly the same (ignoring cheapers elsewhere etc.) as if the multibuy had not been on.
And, bloody MSM potentially risking losing me money again!:( Bought the 18 breaded chicken nuggets from Sains (£3.19 vs T £1.50) but MSM merely says "Bird's Eye Chicken Nuggets (18 per pack - 355g)" and does not state that they are Breaded:( - much if'ing ah'ing are T's Breaded or not? I risked them, not to total happiness, but pleased when BM came back with the difference.
A S'price Chicken Nuggets (and 10% lower vs T) would have been cheaper, but the BE ones are better quality. Got to convince myself anyway:rotfl:.
Used a £2.50 nectar spend. So... Sains: 11.7% cheaper than T!:)
(That figure partly there for debate BTW, as I'm not sure I've calculated it properly.)
Off to the A up the road now, for my W shopping (as opposed to going to the W itself which is a bit farther away from me).
As the BM was the amount looked for, here's what I bought (may help someone struggling) (in the absence of the 24 Jacob Club variety and the Tymbark Apple/Cherry juice drink not being sold by my S's):
2x Sensodyne Gentle Whitening Toothpaste tube 100ml
£8.00 total vs Any 2 for £5.00
Bird's Eye 18 Breaded Chicken Nuggets (355g) (yes, msm)
£3.19 vs £1.50
1 Rustler's Microwave Quarterpounder (190g)
£2.00 vs £1.00
M & Ms large more to share Peanut Pouch 315g
£2.99 vs £1.50
Trebor Softmints Spearmint (4)
£1.56 vs £1.00
Askey's Round Ice Cream Cones (21)
£1.10 vs £1.00 (just need some 2L ice cream now to go with them... now, how am I going to get that?;))
1x Tracker Crunchy Peanut 6 bars + 1x Tracker Chocolate Chip 6 bars
£2.00 each (total £4.00) vs £1.29 (bogof) - I wasn't sure how BM comes back vs bogofs using mix and matches (the T&Cs say you are okay as long as they don't include any own brands in the rival's promotion, and as long as they are exactly the same, size, flavour etc. (and not an excluded product, blah blah blah)). Whether it goes £1.29 for T on one and £0.00 on the other, or whether it gives 64p to one and 65p to the other - in fact I'd better check I'm not a penny missing when that comes back:D:rotfl:. (No need to mix and match folks, but I just wanted different ones and not both the same.)
It worked though - and I'll try to post the 'official' (or not) comp. tomorrow. Eyes down for a full and complete N/A vs A (or I will not be best amused:rotfl::o:)).0 -

Yes, no use sticking with major supermarkets when prices like these elsewhere! Very much of use telling us to go to B&M. Living up to your name QoC:T.0 -
