any solvent really, do it outside though for the fumes xx
I tried nail polish remover, I think had I persevered I may have got there in the end but all it seemed to be doing initially was spreading the stain.Try hairspray but test on the inside first. Works on shirts. hth
Tried that too, same result as above.Enterprise_1701C wrote: »What fabric and what colour?
It's a darkish blue colour, no idea what fabric blazers are made from.
I'm chucking it at the end of this school term anyway as he's already been given a new one as a hand me down.

They probably mean applying it twice (within 5 mins eg) doesn't mean you have 6 hours protection - just the usual 3
They might have meant that but what they actually said was that if you put another lot on after 3 hours (which they said you had to do) you wouldn't get any longer protection above the first 3 hours IFYSWIM. Daft really.ELITE 5:2

Oh errr AAU. You look like you have been semi tango'd by the strawberry tango man.
Sorry, I shouldn't jest. Is it as painful as it looks? Hope you get it sorted soon. Ouch!0 -
Quick reply......
Postie just came and put 4 letters through door, including 3, yes three from my local council telling me my council tax has increased by over £260 for the year, back dated to April 1st. No wonder it's gone up when they need 3 letters to tell me so.
Then 5 mins later he knocks with a parcel in hand. Doesn't quite make up for the £260, but a nice bonus.0 -

Well all the stones get flicked up over pavements and grass areas, and my son has sat on the grass/pavement in a few pairs of his shorts and got tar all over them.
Can recommend Swarfega.
Years ago Chesil Beach was always covered in tarry pebbles.

Sorry to bore you all, but can't contain myself. oh my giddy god, just been for official weigh in at the docs and nearly piddled myself! My scales must be way out, doc said I have lost nearly 2 freakin stone (short 4lbs) holy cow. :j Still got a long way to go but I'm delighted with the first hurdle being cleared.
