Picasso7 be carefull and have your excused ready though as some for some unkown reason sacn at proper price, 1 store near me 1p the other £2.19 same b/code though
Very true - got a few in my local, went back for more and they had gone up to £2.19  Helpful when you have one of the wall scanners that actually works in your store thoughWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Well, today I went on a special trip, to my larger Tesco, in search of the John Freda travel size shampoos and sachets. Got to the said Tesco, only to find they don't stock them :-(.
Had to console myself with the free danio yoghurt with coupon, pizza's and caffe Latte's.
If anyone is struggling to find the Tesco magazines with the JF coupons in & their Tesco has plenty in stock, I will happily post some out for some good karma, just pop us a PM.
PS does anyone know of a Tesco in the Cardiff area that does stock the shampoo, as tried St Mellons, & Rover Way, but to no avail.
Hope everyone else has been lucky today stocking up their stashes.0 -

So out of the blue, but saw a man wombling receipts at slough tesco this afternoon. Made me giggle inside.
Sorry been away from you guys a while, just got back from Sydney. Don't want to take away the good vibe here at the moment. Was by my dads side In hospital for 4 weeks battling brain tumor. He lost his battle. It's actually harder to write than to say it out loud. It was the hardest thing in my life watching him detioriate in front of our eyes. His memory was all of the place. Still feels like those 4 weeks it wasn't my dad, an my dad Is still sitting in his flat watching his turkish tv.
He was a only 51. Although we fought allot I miss him terribly. Thank god, for his funeral prayer there was 300 plus family and friends there. I Had to return back to London and he was in coma for a few days before he passed away peacefully with mum by his side. Although they have been dovorced for 14 years, he loved her the most out of everyone and I'm so happy she was there at that time.
It's been just over a week and miss him terribly, feel like calling him at home and leaving a message on the answering machine asking him how he is and what he has been up to day.
So sorry was only going to mention about the wombler and got carried away. I am so grateful we had those 4 weeks with him and I know people die without no warning and instantly. I am forever grateful.
Celebrate his life, think fondly of the good memories no one can part you from them........we all understand and send hugs.0 -
Thank you so much guys, I just called him to say I miss him. Sobbing so hard. I think it's hitting me now. I was in denial, I missed the funeral. I am Muslim, in our faith we wash the bodies, and close members do it if you wish. My brother, my dads brother and cousin did it. Omg must been s hard for my brother, his ony 24. God I'm actually shaking.
He was doing so well with the cancer but it just came back with a vengeance. He was like my 6 month old son those 4 weeks. Seeing such a strong man become so frail and seeing his body shut down.
I go from being angry with him to loving him and missing him.
No I don't have family here, but my husband is a big support to me. Trying to keep busy and not trying to think about it. Started selling stuff on eBay to keep busy.
My strength has been my faith and keep praying for him and for god to forgive his sins and to ease his punishment and grant him paradise.
Its so difficult to watch someone you love so much deteriorate in that way:( Cancer is such a terrible illness. Things will be raw for a long while but in time you'll be able to remember your Dad as he was before he was so ill Cici. Keep yourself busy if it helps, but don't try to stop yourself from grieving. It's something you need to do and if you don't do it now, it'll catch you later ( experience talking
).
Theres always someone here to talk to. Sometimes it's easier to speak to people who aren't close :A0 -

Cici k so sorry to hear of your loss.
Might be an idea to ask if you could have your dads answer phone if it is the type with his greeting on. Bless you, you must feel so far away from your mum and brother at this time.
FC what a cop out. You could have made kids coke ban over the weekend so you could enjoy their anguish more:rotfl: I hope 30 mins extra bouncing time has been allowed for your ds2
Just popped to sainsbobs to get my prescription as was too hot earlier.
Yes it was dr day and gutted to find I have not lost an ounce in weight. But then again I have not gained any either.
Going on with another 4 weeks but cutting coke back to 3 cans a week as coping well on 5:2 days.
Mum and step dad are planning long trip to australia early next year with no stop overs (so no way I can manage the flights) so as they will be away for my birthday I am planning a trip of my own. Not 100% sure where yet but would love to visit thailand again or the caribbean. Would love to cruise the caribbean but travelling alone is not cheap. Birthday early march (same as snap ant). I really want to drop 20lbs before then so sticking with 5:2 as easiest diet I have ever followed so sticking with it.
