I know some of you have beautiful gardens. Watering advice please. If I am going away for a couple of weeks with no-one to water the pansies, should I cut them right back (seems a shame now they are in full bloom) so they need less water or should I just leave alone. They are in very narrow raised bed that forms the border of our patio. Not much soil, about 3 inch width, so it drys out really quickly. I'm thinking that without rain they will die whatever I do, so I may as well leave them alone.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
